Portfolios - Preparing Images, Day 2

I've changed the schedule around a bit so you'll have the opportunity to work on your 2 required graphic elements in Fireworks during today's class. I've also changed the due date for these elements to Thursday, April 20.

You are required to create 2 graphic elements using Fireworks:
1. A menu page that directs portfolio viewers to the 6 main elements of your portfolio:
Productivity Tools
Inspiration (or Kidspiration)
iMovie
WebQuest
PowerPoint Game
Autobiography

You will most likely use images and other graphic elements along with text to complete your menu page. This graphic should be 750 pixels x 550 pixels. You will save this graphic as menu.png in your assignments folder.

2. An autobiography page that will share information about you for future employers. You will want to include at least 4 personal pictures and captions for each picture. Do not include pictures that you would not want a future employer to see. This graphic should be 700 x 800 and you will save it as bio.png in your assignments folder.

On Thursday we will begin creating your pages -- spend some time looking over student examples from previous semesters so you can begin to plan what your professional portfolio will look like.
